The government of Pakistan has begun censoring one of the main news web sites that covers the stories about the plight of Christians in Pakistan.

Dr Nazir Bhatti, publisher of the Pakistan Christian Post, confirmed that web pages of his news site have been censored in Pakistan. "When anyone clicks on news stories, the message shows up not available," Dr Bhatti said.

Dr Bhatti said Islamabad had cracked down on the web site of the Pakistan Christian Congress six years back. Dr Bhatti, a lifelong crusader for Christian rights, had to flee to US after facing death threats in Pakistan.

Pakistan is one of the worst countries for Christians were a Christian women is languishing in prison for many years now and is facing the hang man's noose simply after being charged with blasphemy when she ended up having an argument with Muslim women on drinking water from the same pitcher.

Last fall, a Christian boy was killed in school for drinking water from the same water source like the Muslim students, clearly showing Islamo-fascism is rampant in the south Asian nation of more than 190 million people.

Both incidents happened in Punjab, stronghold of Pakistan army where lynching of Christians is commonplace. Christians in Pakistan are called by epithets like bhangi and choora which means dirty.

However, Dr Bhatti was pleased that US president Donald Trump despite his other weaknesses, has taken a correct and bold stand on Pakistan.
